Back to the Future is now the present

(Do not own right to this photo)   Nike MAG 'Back to the Future' One of the most iconic shoes that were first introduced in the movie Back to the Future II a 1989 film starring Michael J Fox. Marty McFly was on the run from the town bully when he got on a futuristic hoverboard lacing up his futuristic Nike shoe that was self-lacing and ankle tightening that would light up and what looked to be something amazing but a myth.   (Do not own right to this photo) Nike decided that it was time to make this shoe a reality, with many years in the process of making this shoe Nike debuted the real Nike MAG 'Back to the Future' in 2016. There have been many replicas, but Nike decided to make it their own. These shoes do indeed have adaptive fit technology a.k.a the power laces and the detail on the movie shoe have come to actual life.  An average pair average anywhere from $23,000-$28,000

The King is Born

HAIL KING JAMES           (Do not own right to this photo) May of 2003 Lebron James signed his first Nike contract for $93 million. For 19 years Lebron has come out with 19 Lebron shoes, Lebron 1-19. Since his first contract Lebron then signed another contract with Nike instead of it being a couple of years he signed a lifetime deal with $30 million per year. He has the biggest single athlete contract in Nike history. Who would've thought that an inner-city kid from Akron Ohio would become a billionaire by the time he would turn 65 years old just on his shoe deal? Since I was in middle school, I have collected a various amount of Lebron James shoes and sold about $3,000 worth of his shoes.            (Do not own right to this photo)       LEBRON AIR ZOOM I   4X MVP 4X FINALS MVP 4X NBA CHAMP......  LeBron James!  Shoe of topic is the LeBron Air Zoom I also known now ...

The Black Mamba Pt. I

(Do not own right to this photo) The Killer instinct of Kobe Bean Bryant aka THE BLACK MAMBA , there will never be another one like him, his discipline, work ethic, and winning mentality will always be unmatched. We lost a living legend too soon.    (Do not own right to this photo) KOBE ZOOM II One of two of my favorite pairs of Kobe's would be the Kobe Zoom IIs . The Kobe Zoom IIs were his second shoe he came out with after leaving Addias. I personally love these shoes and they were one of my first shoes I collected when I was a kid. Zoom II debuted in 2006, they  had a more sleek look to it, and was a high-top shoe that came with a strap, giving extra ankle support for ballers. The shoe’s toe box was tailored to Kobe for better movement on the court. This shoe was a great basketball shoe and allo...

The Air Jordan 1

Air Jordan 1                                        (Do not own right to this photo) How can I not start my first post o n the Air Jordan  1s? The yeah is 1985 , and the debut of what would be the start of sneakerhead fandom, Nike came out what would The Nike   Air Jordan .  The Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore. While most of the characteristics come  from other Nike designs like the Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, Air Ship, and Nike Vanda l.  Who would've known that Jordan would have a line of retro Jordans 1-23 and at least 23  different types of Jordan 1's made? With the black Air Jordans being banned by the NBA because the NBA did not allow players to wear black shoes.                                    (Do not own right to this photo)  The...

Introduction

(Do not own right to this photo) Thank you for tuning into my blog. I have been an active shoe collector since I was 13 years old, I have collected over 250 pairs of shoes and sold half as much. I have made a good investment on my shoes, and I want to provide insight on why shoes have become a billion-dollar industry and give you information on what shoes to buy, when to buy them, and why certain shoes are worth more than others. I hope you enjoy my knowledge and take it with you if you want to become an avid shoe collector.
