In 1985 the Nike Dunk was invented; it was designed by the same person who designed the Jordan 1. The Nike Dunk was basketball shoe for college players and began to transform in the 90's, 00's, and even now 20's. I brought up these shoes because they are beginning to trend, and I came across a Sneakerhead a few months back who was trying to sell me a pair of Nike Dunk Syracuse for $380. Nike has recently launched dozens of Dunks in the past year, and you would think that the high-tops would be more expensive but this new era of shoe, the low tops are its biggest sellers. I'm a fan of the high tops but to each their own. I just wanted to talk a little about the Dunks and how far they have come in Nike history and the evolution of its purpose of wearing for style instead of play.
