I know that the Nike Air Force 1s are not the basketball type of shoe but since it's my most bought shoe I thought I'd talk about them a little bit. The Nike Air Force 1s were not supposed to be calls the Air Force 1s but the creator of them compared them to the Air Force 1s plane that flies the President everywhere and that's where the name eventually came from. The shoe debuted in 1982 and discontinued in 1984 then brought back in the market in 1986. This shoe has over 1700 different types of styles and brings in over $800 million in revenue each year. AF-1 are very popular in pop-culture and have been for many years and even have a song named after them by Nelly. I have bought maybe 20 pairs of Af-1s since 2007-Present. They are my comfort and dress shoes when I don't want to wear sandals or boots.
